Penny is a critical care registered nurse with a Master’s of Nursing. Wife to Phil and Mother to Caleb and Sampson. She lives on 45 acres outside of Kyneton. She loves gardening, going for walks and doing natural horsemanship. After struggling through breastfeeding Caleb she expected it to be easier with Sampson. It was not. Through God’s provision she was encouraged by a good friend to investigate The Thompson Method. Penny wishes she had found The Thompson Method before she had Caleb. Those first 8 weeks would have been so much easier and less painful.
Penny is offering antenatal birth and breastfeeding classes via zoom or in person. There are a range of days and times available but limited spaces each month to ensure each woman has the time and attention she deserves.

"I couldn’t be more pleased with Dr Robyn’s content. It fully prepared me to successfully breastfeed my son. Eight months together and no plans to end this wonderful experience. I recommend this to every new mom interested in breastfeeding.
I’m so thankful! We had our fair share of some obstacles to overcome (oral ties), but with this method, we persevered EBF. Without it, I’m convinced I wouldn’t have succeeded!
Thank you for educating me on having intervention-free labor and birth as well as all the knowledge I need to breastfeed. I’m forever grateful. If my son could thank you, I believe he would, too! My wish is every new mother and child are gifted this method. In the future, it just may be a gift I give.""

"Dr Thompson has totally changed the game for us with breastfeeding. This is my second child, and our feeding journey has been so magical. The way she discusses and explains things is so clear and thoughtful—I wish the whole of UK healthcare would take up her methods! I’ve experienced next to no pain at all and we are four weeks in with a baby who has a tongue tie, which generally causes a painful latch, but with her help, I am genuinely enjoying every moment. The best thing I ever did was start this program during my pregnancy! My nipples thank me every day, too."

"Meet Leo! Born on 30 December 2021. My breastfeeding journey with my first (daughter) started off badly. For four months, we struggled through mix feeding and self-doubt. It wasn’t until she was 6 weeks old that a paediatrician discovered she has a high palate which made feeding difficult until she was older. Well we made it to nearly 3 years in the end but the journey to get there was tough. That’s why I knew that this time around, I needed to have the best start possible.Well, my experience so far has been so different. Anyone else who’s had a baby during the pandemic, knows it has its own challenges, but one is that the hospital system is strained. If it weren’t for me doing this course, I know wouldn’t have had the support to guide me through feeding. I was left to my own devices but I had so much confidence. Leo doesn’t have a high palate and is feeding like a dream. I’m in awe at what my body can do and no longer have self doubt about breastfeeding. Your course gave me so much knowledge and everything just clicked as I was putting it to practice. This time we’re off to a flying start and I keep telling my husband how happy I am that I did this course. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Danielle and Leo.
